Canada and Yeşilada, which follow the city centre of Eğirdir from opposite Cape Kale in Lake Eğirdir, are combined with land. Resembling a garden with an area of seven acres, Canada is not large to allow for settlement; There’s not a single house on it.
Yeşilada, formerly known as Nis, has been active in human activity since ancient times. At first, he was reaching the island in a boat. With the lake waters receding, the island was connected to the mainland by two-lane asphalt road. The island, which is considered sacred by Greeks, including the Church of Aya Stefanos, was declared a protected site. Many of the hotels, hostels and restaurants are clustered here, as tourists prefer to stay on the island.
